Armenia’s PM tells France’s President Macron about necessity to halt Turkey’s possible interference
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hold a phone conversation with the President of France Emmanuel Macron.
The Armenian PM said that today Azerbaijan launched military actions along the entire line of contact with Artsakh and expressed deep concern over the created situation and its further escalation.
It was noted in particular that Azerbaijan makes provocations in the direction of the border with Armenia for launching military actions there too.
The PM draw special attention on Turkey’s strictly biased and aggressive position and on the necessity to halt the possible interference of that country.
France’s Macron expressed deep concern over the created situation and considered the further escalation inadmissible.
He stressed the necessity to undertake all possible measures to cease the military actions and ease the tension.
Macron also stressed the importance of activation of the efforts by the OSCE Minsk Group for re-establishing peace in the region.
