We suffer casualties among civilians as well: Armenia’s PM

This in essence is Azerbaijan’s attempt to settle Artsakh issue in military way and occupy Nagorno Karabakh, Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan said at the special NA session today, describing the Azerbaijani actions as obvious aggression.

“Taking into consideration the circumstance that in the created military-political situation there is a direct threat of attack on the Armenian borders.
The Armenian government stated marital law and general mobilization. As of the moment 1st row partial mobilization is taking place, but we have decided to make such decision to have opportunity to operatively respond to the situation,” the PM said.

He said that the Artsakh Defense Army is waging battles along the entire line of contact, the situation is tense.

“We have victims not only among servicemen, but civilians as well. The Defense Army implements its duty to stop Azerbaijan’s attack and aggression,” he said.
