Armenia’s NA adopts draft statement on condemning Azerbaijan’s military aggression

With 118 for and 0 against Armenia’s parliament adopted today draft statement About Condemning the Military Aggression Unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh and Armenia on September 27, 2020.

The draft statement has been signed by the representatives of three parliamentary factions – My Step, Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia.

“We demand that the things be called by their names, we demand  clearly registering the aggression by authoritarian Azerbaijan against democratic Artsakh, drawing border between humanity and misanthropy,” the statement says, reaffirming that the Armenian side stays committed to the peaceful regulation of the conflict in the sidelines of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship.

“The NA reaffirms that being the guarantor of Artsakh’s security it will not spare necessary means to defend the security of the Armenians of Artsakh and expression of their right to self-determination,” the statement runs.
