MOD: Armenia’s Armed Forces to be forced to use weapons with wide-area impact

Early in the morning of September 29, Azerbaijani side resumed large-scale attack along the entire line of contact of Artsakh, Armenia’s Defense Ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan wrote on Facebook.

She said during the offense actions the Azerbaijani armed forces use TOS-1A heavy artillery systems in separate directions.

"The usage of TOS, Smerch and other big caliber systems changes the logic of the military actions and the volume, bringing them on the new level. In this regard Armenia’s Ministry of Defense warns that the Armenian Armed Forces will be forced to use weapons with wide-area impact, able to destroy manpower,  transportable or fixed property in large areas," she said, adding that as of now the Defense Army divisions are confidently pushing back all the attack attempts of the enemy causing heavy losses of manpower and equipment.
