Artsakh president warns people to be prepared for lasting war

Mercenaries have not done good to any country and people of Azerbaijan must understand it, Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan said at a briefing today, adding that the same mercenaries are trouble for Azerbaijani people.

Referring to the issue of recognition of Artsakh independence by Armenia, Harutyunyan said all the issues on political agenda are proceeding.

“A decision will be made not to create issues for implementation of Artsakh people’s right to self-determination in the political field by the international community,” he said.

He also stressed the necessity to get prepared for lasting war.

“If we are not ready for it, we will have issue with the implementation of our key right – the right to live in this country,” he said, adding that the Defense Army will impose peace to the enemy.
