Press appeared in Turkish-Azerbaijani target after Armenia’s MFA statement on accrediting over 200 journalists from leading mass media of the world: Anna Naghdalyan
Azerbaijan is targeting civilian population and structures intentionally, spokesperson of Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anna Naghdalyan said at a briefing today.
“Today journalists appeared in Turkish-Azerbaijani target,” she said.
The spokesperson said that the intentional targeting is violation of international right and is strongly condemnable.
She said the press appeared under attack after Armenia’s MFA statement about accrediting over 200 reporters from over 50 leading international media who expressed wish to cover the conflict. Over 100 of the reporters were already working in Artsakh.
Naghdalyan said that Armenia’s MFA undertakes all the possible measures to present the concerns to all the partners.
She stressed that Turkey’s destabilizing policy must receive equivalent assessment and be restricted.
It has been reported earlier that Azerbaijan targeted a group of journalists in Martaker, local and international. Some of them were wounded. Journalists of French Le Monde were wounded severely and operated on in Stepanakert Medical Center.
