Armenia’s PM holds phone talk with France’s Macron, expresses gratitude for principle and constructive position
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had another phone conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron.
The interlocutors discussed the situation created in Nagorno Karabakh and the developments, government’s press office reports.
Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude to the French President for principle and constructive position regarding the inadmissibility of unleashing the war.
The parties considered inadmissible the involvement of foreign terrorists in the military actions.
French president stressed the importance of immediate cessation of hostilities and restoration of the peace process in line with the October 1, 2020 Statement of the presidents of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries.
Armenia’s PM considered the penetration of Turkey and the terrorists sponsored by it to the region inadmissible, stressing that without ousting the destabilizing forces it will be impossible to restore the regional security.
In the pre-context of establishment of peace Nikol Pashinyan attached significance to the close cooperation with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and their countries.
