Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation at the initiative of the Armenian side the leaders of the two countries discussed the situation in Nagorno Karabakh.
“The discussion of the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict continued. The two parties expressed serious concern over the coming information about involvement of militias from illegal armed groups from Middle East in the military actions,” Kremlin said in a press release.
“Putin again emphasized the necessity of immediate cessation of military hostilities and resuming the political-diplomatic efforts for the regulation of the conflict in line with the October 1, 2020 Statement of the presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries (Russia, France, the USA),” the press release said.
