Russia’s Putin not planning to have contacts with Aliyev, Erdogan yet: Peskov
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is not yet planning to have contacts with Azerbaijani and Turkish counterparts, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, adding that in case of necessity he is ready to discuss the situation over Nagorno Karabakh.
“In case of necessity, undoubtedly, President Putin will discuss the issue with his counterparts,” Interfax reports citing the spokesperson.
Asked whether the negotiations may take place this week, Peskov said there are no clear plans yet.
“We have no clear plans, but you know that we are talking about the war and indeed the situation is speedily developing in the Karabakh, so it is difficult to predict anything. The necessity of dialogue will be formed depending on how the circumstances will develop,” Peskov said.
