We will not beg for ceasefire: Artsakh NA speaker
We are moving in the war thoughtfully to have less losses from each operation, chairman of Artsakh parliament Artur Tovmasyan said.
“Azerbaijani president engaged in adventure, and I believe he was forced to do it by Turkish military-political leadership. We are giving proportionate counterattacks, everything is under control,” he said, stressing that the Armenian side will not beg for ceasefire.
“The war has been unleashed by Azerbaijan, but is being conducted by Turkey. Erdogan wants to poke his nose to the South Caucasus. We are speaking with them in equivalent language,” he said.
Tovmasyan reminded that Russia is making efforts to bring the conflicting parties on behalf of Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs to the table of negotiations.
“Perhaps, defense ministers will too immediately sit at the table of negotiations. Today the situation is calm, but we must be vigilant,” he said.
