World must prevent Turkey’s plan’s to turn Azerbaijan into lair of terrorism in the South Caucasus: Artsakh president calls for formation international anti-terrorism coalition

“Today Artsakh and Armenia have appeared on the frontline of fight against international terrorism with the direct meaning of this word. But in this case, the specifics is that the enemy threatening the existence of the international civilization is against our country hiding behind the flag of UN member,” Harutyunyan stated.

“In the contemporary world when it is impossible to hide anything from anyone all witnessed the transfer of jihadists of international terrorist network to Azerbaijan,” Harutyunyan stressed, adding that the targets of that terrorists are peaceful population of Armenia and Artsakh.

Artsakh president stressed that Turkey controls the network and with the consent of opportunistic authorities of Baku uses Azerbaijan as an instrument for the creation of new hotbed of international terrorism in the South Caucasus.

“I am convinced that each responsible participant of international political life, state or organization clearly realizes the dangerous consequences of such developments. We still remember the ambitions of jihadists to create state-like formation in Iraq and Syria. All the states of the world must prevent Turkey’s plan’s to turn Azerbaijan into lair of terrorism in the South Caucasus. Armenia and Artsakh are on the frontline of this fight today, we have accepted the challenge, and we will fight till the final victory. But it is not the problem of Armenia and Artsakh only. As president of the country, fighting for its independence, I call on civilized world to take active part in fight against terrorism. The creation of international effective anti-terrorist coalition is the imperative of the day. I am sure the victory will be ours,” he stated.
