Russia's MFA representative unveils details about Armenia's FM's official visit
According to reached agreement, Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan will visit Moscow October 11-13, Russia’s MFA representative Maria Zakharova said at a briefing today.
“In the sidelines of the visit of the high-ranking guest the two heads of foreign affairs agencies of the two countries will conduct negotiations during which Sergey Lavrov and his counterpart will discuss the international problematics and issues of regional security. Russia’s MFA representative said bilateral relations are of allied nature and are outlined with intensive political dialogue on highest and high levels, effective inter-parliamentary contacts, etc.
“We expect that the official visit of Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs will give additional impetus to the development of mutually beneficial Russian-Armenian cooperation and will promote reinforcement of security and stability in the South Caucasus,” she said.
