Intense fights continue, enemy suffers losses: Artsrun Hovhannisyan

The fights continue as of the moment, Armenia’s Ministry of Defense representative Artsrun Hovhannisyan said at a briefing today, adding that they continue at night too but in the mornings they become more intensive.

Hovhannisyan said in the afternoon the enemy continued Stepanakert’s shelling.

“The military actions were very intense in north, than previously, but the more severe ones were in southern directions,” he said, adding that the Armenian armed forces continue repelling the attacks of the adversary throwing them back to their starting positions.

He stressed that today the enemy suffered losses.

Speaking about enemy’s statements about capturing Jebrail and Hadrut and nearby villages, Hovhannisyan said he was in Hadrout at the moment of declaring it and said there were not even active military actions in that direction.
