Azerbaijan violates ceasefire, Turkey continues transferring militias to NK conflict zone: Armenia’s FM to Russia’s Lavrov
The meeting of Armenian and Russian Foreign Ministers Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Sergey Lavrov commenced in Moscow.
Starting the meeting, Russia's FM said that the ceasefire is not preserved and voiced hope that the contacts with Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs will allow to settle the situation.
Armenia's FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan highly assessed the efforts of Russian side and Minister Lavorov in reaching agreement over the ceasefire but stressed that the Azerbaijani forces continue violating it.
Mnatsakanyan also stressed the engagement of Turkey and foreign militias in the conflict against Artsakh.
Armenia’s FM said now people of Artsakh are solving the issue of their existence.
“Turkey continues transporting militants to the Karabakh conflict zone,” he said.
Mnatsakanyan also emphasized the necessity of applying mechanism for monitoring the preservation of ceasefire.
“I hope we will have effective conversation,” Mnatsakanyan said, applying to Lavrov.
The meeting continued in closed format.
