Azerbaijan suffers big number of manpower losses during yesterday and today: MOD representative

Azerbaijani armed forces launched large-scale offensives from the early morning today in northern and southern directions, but not in the direction of Araks valley, representative of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisian said.

“They tried to elaborate offensives in both directions, mainly under intensive artillery shooting with the infantry, minimal usage of armored vehicles with great density of convoys,”  Hovhnanisyan said.

He stressed that the Armenian Armed Forces inflicted big losses to the enemy and pushed them back.

“Azerbaijan has suffered quite big losses of manpower during yesterday and today,” Hovhannisyan said.

He said the enemy has adopted new tactics while attacking especially the hills.

“Usage of high density infantry, indescribable, the way we saw only in movies,” he said.
