International community should clearly differentiate between the instigators of the conflict and those calling for peace: Greek FM
We are following the developments in the region, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said at a joint press conference with Armenia’s FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan in Yerevan, adding that they hail the statement on cessation of hostilities.
“We are, though, very concerned with their violations. The ceasefire must be respected, lasting solution may be reached only in diplomatic way by returning to the table of negotiations,” Dendias said.
The Greek minister said the international community must clearly differentiate between those “pouring oil to the fire” and those who have adopted constructive position and are for peaceful settlement.
“The need to stop the foreign interference is clear. Ankara’s interference is really worrying. Greece has voiced about it. We offered the EU to call for ending the involvement of external sides,” the minister said, adding that they have recalled their ambassador from Baku for consultations and will not tolerate false information.
