Russia has bigger role in restoring peace and stability in the region: Armenia’s PM
We are having permanent consultations with our Russian partners, including in the sidelines of the CSTO, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview to Swiss RTS TV.
“Clear statements have already been made and in case of certain developments Russia and the CSTO will implement their commitments to Armenia. But I think Russia has bigger role, has more expanded role in restoring stability and peace in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone,” Pashinyan said.
“I consider it very important as Russia’s is the closest co-chair to our region. The other co-chairs – the USA and France as well as the international community in general must encourage Russia in its efforts to stabilize the situation,” Pashinyan said.
