Fourteen Armenian parties apply to government demanding engagement of former high-ranking officials in organization of Homeland’s defense

Fourteen political forces issued a statement relating to the situation. Presenting the joint statement member of the ARF-D Supreme Body Ishkhan Saghatelyan said that during all these days starting from September 27 the Armenian parties demonstrated exclusive solidarity and unity.

“All parties put aside the disputes and stated about standing by the two Armenian states,” Saghatelyan said.

He stressed that after a long discussion yesterday they adopted a joint statement.

“The Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression turned into a global security threat. The war is being expanded. Those who unleashed the war are unresponsive to the calls to settle the conflict peacefully. In this fatal time making a breakthrough in the situation is an imperative. We apply to the government and demand:

Immediately set up operative management headquarters – a special state body - granting it authorities to plan and coordinate operative actions

engage former and incumbent presidents, prime ministers, defense and foreign ministers and other experienced people of Armenia and Artsakh in the organization of Homeland’s defense,” Saghatelyan read out the statement signed by 14 parties.
