Kremlin refrains to answer on deployment of peacekeepers in Karabakh
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov refrained to respond whether Russia’ president Vladimir Putin during his contacts with the leader of Armenia and Azerbaijan offered deploying peacekeepers in Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone, Interfax reports.
Peskov said Russia’s president during the contacts with Baku and Yerevan counterparts refers to the widest aspects of conflict settlement.
At the same time Peskov stressed that “any peacekeeping forces are deployed in conflict zone with the consent of two parties.”
As to whether Russia is ready to send peacekeepers to the conflict zone in case of having the consent of all parties, Peskov said he would not make any "eventual judgments."
