Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan tests coronavirus positive, departure to Moscow delayed
Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan tested positive for coronavirus.
Robert Kocharyan took COVID-19 test to depart for Moscow with the proposal of Artsakh’s first and second presidents and permission of court.
Armenia’s second president press office reports that the positive test was rather unexpected as he did not have any symptoms and complaints.
“Unfortunately, in the created situation the departure to Moscow and organization of different meetings has become temporarily impossible. President Kocharyan has self-isolated but is doing everything he can to promote the cessation of hostilities in Artsakh,” the office said.
