Azerbaijan’s land potential seriously damaged, main hope lays on mercenaries: MOD representative

Since the morning today the enemy troops and terrorist groups, mercenaries continued offensives in different directions, mainly in small groups, using artillery in some places, warplanes in the others, Armenia’s Ministry of Defense representative Artrsun Hovhannisyan said at a briefing today.

“In essence, no noticeable position changes have been recorded during the day in all directions. As of the moment the battles continue,” Hovhannisyan said.

Referring to the mercenaries, the MOD representative said that there will be surprises no matter how Turkey and Azerbaijan will try to deny their existence.

“We know quite well the information on where, in what location the tasks are being fulfilled, what instructions are being given to them [Azeri forces] what concrete issues they must solve on front line. We should say that the attempts to fulfill the tasks witness that the land potential of Azerbaijani Armed Forces has been seriously damaged, their main hope is mercenaries,” Hovhannisyan said.
