46 civilians killed, 144 received injuries after Azerbaijan’s shelling: Artsakh ombudsman
At least 46 civilians have been killed and other 144 wounded as a result of Azerbaijan’s shelling of peaceful settlements, Artsakh Human Rights Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan told the reporters today.
“We have information about a number of other cases too but due to military actions taking place there we cannot clarify all the circumstances,” he said, stressing that the cases are recorded but not calculated.
Artsakh Human Rights Ombudsman also added that according to their modest calculations over 13,800 real estate property – apartments, houses and over 3,100 infrastructures – public and manufacturing facilities – have been damaged.
“Electricity supply stations, communication, water and gas supply structures, schools, pre-school establishments, hospitals, church have been damaged,” Beglaryan said.
He said as of November 2, 61 schools and 10 pre-school establishments have been damaged in Artsakh which is the 27-28% of the general number of schools. Over 2,100 cars were damaged as a result of shelling.
