Let’s wait for glorious and victorious end of Shushi fight: MOD representative

Fierce fights were waged today in the direction of Berdzor too, MOD representative Artsrun Hovhannisyan said at a briefing today. He said the enemy forces several times tried to break through and enter Berdzor trying to reach for help to their units fighting in Shushi. Hovhannisyan said their attempts failed and they were pushed back.

“Fights continue now too. The general situation may be considered quite positive. Our troops succeed in not allowing the enemy elaborate its success,” he said.

Again referring to fights in Shushi, Hovhannisyan said that it continues for already 3-4 days and now continue too.

MOD representative said the Armenian side is fighting devotedly with even commanders taking arms and hitting enemy’s tanks and fighting side by side with their soldiers.

“Let’s wait for the end of Shushi fight which I think we will end with glory and victory,” he said.
