Artsakh president says decision to end war made to avoid further big human losses
Artsakh president Arayik Harutyunyan said he conducted discussions on ending the war with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan all day long.
“Before it I have conducted discussions with the National Assembly of the Artsakh Republic and received the consent of the majority of deputies. Taking into consideration the current grave situation and to avoid the future big human losses and losing Artsakh completely I gave my consent,” he wrote on Facebook, adding that he will refer to the signed trilateral agreement later.
Harutyunyan expressed his condolences and voiced his pride to the families of the martyrs and the whole nation.
