Border with Turkey will not open, Armenia to have railway communication with Iran – Armenia’s PM
Armenia may have an opportunity of having railway communication with Iran through Nakhichevan, but the borders with Turkey will not open, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview to Public TV.
He said Armenian-Turkish borders will not open as Turkey is not participant of trilateral statement on Karabakh.
“But we want opening railway communication from Armenia to Iran through Nakhichevan, besides we want second road to Russia. Thanks to this document these provisions may be implemented. It is a matter of negotiations,” Pashinyan said.
