Authorities prepare ground to ban activity of opposition parties: statement
The Political Council of 17 parties came up with a statement on the recent developments in the country.
“The authorities that are in obvious agony not only try to divert the attention of the people from the actions on bringing their treacherous goals to the end but use dictatorial actions and violating the principles of legal and democratic state, illegally isolate the opposition political and public figures preparing ground for banning the activity of opposition parties,” the parties said in a statement.
The parties also said that to form negative public attitude and to avoid responsibility they made-up devilish delusion as if the separate representatives of opposition forces planned Pashinyan’s assassination.
“The illegal criminal persecutions have become more violent forming a big army of political prisoners,” the parties stressed, referring to the arrests of Homeland party leader Artur Vanetsyan, RPA member Vahram Baghdasaryan and others.
The parties also urged the people to speak up and unite to get rid of Pashinyan’s disastrous regime as soon as possible.
“Our fight to save the homeland continues,” the statement concluded.
