Ten people captured after signing statement, subversive groups are reported to have penetrated to Karvatchar: Bright Armenia faction head

After signing statement people go and are being captured, head of Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan said at the NA today, referring to the ten missing citizens in Goris-Shushi road sector.

“Today the parliament is the body above the prime minister, it may gather, discuss the statement and say that as far as the statement has been signed and the provisions have been violated, we, for instance, view the issue of not leaving Lachin corridor. Can the parliament discuss it? I think yes, we can. So why don’t we do it? We convene session and you do not come dear colleagues, saying our project is a bad one,” Marukyan said.

He offered My Step bloc convene special session to preserve the provisions of the statement and discuss the legality of the statement.

“Seven days passed since signing the statement, we have registered violation during these seven days. The parliament, that has more legal power then the signed document can adopt a statement and start process stemming from it. I think it can. It is not we who violated the first, isn’t it? They captured the people. There is information that during the past two days sabotage groups are penetrating to Karvatchar. It is a violation, who must speak about it?” Marukyan stressed.
