Putin says agreements on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict observed
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin speaking at BRICS summit said the agreements on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are observed. He stressed that the situation is stabilizing which creates conditions for a settlement of the conflict on fair ground.
“It is important for the agreements to be observed. The fighting has been completely ceased, the situation is becoming stable,” he said in a speech.
Putin also said conditions have been created for a long-term and full-format settlement of the crisis that will benefit the Azerbaijani and Armenian peoples. He reminded that the Russian party has made the most active efforts to stop the fighting between its two friendly nations and encourage them to make mutual concessions.
