Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani Defense Ministries to sign trilateral agreement if necessary
Armenia’s minister of defense Davit Tonoyan had phone conversations with Russia’s counterpart Sergey Shoygu, Ministry of Defense reports.
During them the ministers discussed the operative situation created in the Nagorno Karabakh territory and ongoing issues relating the activity of peacekeeping troops. The sides also referred to the issues on organization of works on exchange of captives, finding the missing.
A special attention was drawn to the humanitarian situation created in Nagorno Karabakh. Armenia’s minister expressed his support to the creation of Russian inter-departmental humanitarian response center in the territory of Nagorno Karabakh which will deal with the issues of return of refugees, restoration of civilian infrastructures, search of missing, killed, captured.
An arrangement has been reached in case of necessity sign trilateral document in this regard by the defense ministries of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
