Homeland party to participate in snap parliamentary elections: Vanetsyan
We do not divide people into blacks and whites, leader of Homeland party Artur Vanetsyan said at the Liberty Square today.
Referring to the people gathered in front of government building in support of the PM, Vanetsyan stressed that they just create a background as if they defend Pashinyan.
“There is no one in the world with blood of Armenian who will defend Nikol Pashinyan who handed over our hands to Azeris and Turks,” he said.
Speaking about their roadmap he stressed that they do have it and the discussions have almost been completed. It will be presented during the forthcoming days.
“Our party will participate in snap parliamentary elections if they take place,” he said adding that the people will decide where they will be.
“Having position is not end in itself for us. One must have courage to take responsibility for this unfortunately, destroyed, divided country,” he said.
As to the possible candidate for the post of the prime minister, Vanetsyan said he will be accepted by all.
Depending from the developments a statement will be issued in the coming days.
The leader of the party did not refute the possibility of few candidates for the post among which the one will be elected.
“We will have temporary government, then elections will take place and the people will decide who the leader will be,” Vanetsyan said, adding that Pashinyan’s resignation issue must be settled exclusively by the political forces of Armenia.
