Armenian newly appointed FM discusses situation in Karabakh with Russian counterpart during phone conversation
Newly appointed Former Minister of Armenia Ara Aivazian had today a phone conversation with Russia’s FM Sergey Lavrov.
According to Armenia’s MFA, during the conversation the sides emphasized the reciprocal readiness to develop Armenian-Russian allied relations in all the sectors and in ensuring regional security in particular.
The interlocutors also referred to the details on practical realization of November 10 trilateral agreement on Karabakh and the activity of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh.
The foreign ministers also discussed the situation created in Artsakh and the situation in the region, referred to the efforts on normalization of humanitarian situation and to the meeting of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in Moscow yesterday.
The parties also exchanged ideas over the upcoming schedule of Armenian-Russian cooperation.
