On third day of war Armenia’s PM orders to stop supplements and send volunteers to frontline – Movses Hakobyan
On the third day of war the country’s prime minister issued decree to stop the supplement and send volunteers on the frontline, former head of Ministry of Defense Control Service Movses Hakobyan said at a press conference today.
“They cannot deny it as the officials responsible for the process know that the time will come they will be held responsible for not implementing this function, the conversation has been recorded,” Hakobyan said.
He stressed that he was in Artsakh from the very first day.
“The volunteer squads were coming, brilliant guys, without ammunition and wearing. There was no ammunition and uniforms for them in the military units. They come to the president speak for about an hour about their patriotism, then the president sends them to the army commander, where they again speak about patriotism and why they came for. The commander of the army must think what to find and how to arm them and send. They solved the issue somehow,” Hakobyan said.
Speaking about squads he said they were sent to Defense Army’s 9th defense region for defense but they refused to saying that they want to fight in Askeran.
“A person who does not have communication system with the fighting staff, is not in harmony, how could he fight? From the very first fight a part was eliminated, the other fled in panic. On the 5th day we had 1,500 who fled, they were isolated not to return to Armenia and raise panic. A person was cut from the troops to control them,” he said.
