Our task is not to allow bloodshed in Karabakh – Russia’s DM (video)
Russia’s Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu stated at the meeting with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan that the Russian delegation arrived with concrete and definite tasks.
“You know that after the signed statement we urgently invited the whole peacekeeping contingent here and ended the work the day before yesterday. During these days we deployed almost in the whole territory of Karabakh, 23 posts have been installed. We are controlling the road to Stepanakert, ensure the movement and return of the refugees. A big work is yet to be done, I hope the peaceful life in Karabakh will restore,” Shoygu said.
“The chief task of our side is not allow the bloodshed. Besides we are planning to discuss the further life here and the work of our peacekeepers, what is necessary for it, and naturally, all the issues relating to our cooperation in military and military-technical aspects. We have arrived with big plans and hope to realize them,” Shoygu said.
