Pashinyan was calling me, Osipyan, telling he wanted to see rivers of blood – Artur Vanetsyan makes revelations
The government cannot deny what I say today at the rally, Armenia’s ex-director of NSS, leader of Homeland party Artur Vanetsyan said. “Believe me I can tell more details about the protest action of woodcutters in Ijevan,” Vanetsyan said.
“Do you remember the mass unrest in Ijevan and I appeared there. Many were criticizing what NSS chief is doing there. There was a simple reason. On that day I was in Artsakh on a working visit. Valery Osipyan called me and said the situation in Ijevan was tense. Then my deputy Eduard Martirosyan called me and said the prime minister instructed us to head to Ijevan with Alfa squad to beat the people. I told him not to do that as this department is intended for other functions – implementation of anti-terrorist functions,” Vanetsyan said at the rally.
“Nikol Pashinyan was calling me, Osipyan telling “break, kill, I want to see rivers of blood,” Vanetsyan said, adding that he and Osipyan did not give in to the unlawful orders and emotions and managed to prevent the threat without rivers of blood.
