Azeri left Sotk mine territory, regular work in the mine continues

Works are ongoing in Sotk mine in a regular way, head of the village Hakob Avetyan told Aysor.am today.

“The employees are working, now negotiations are ongoing but not between soldiers but governments,” he said.

Avetyan noted that a border must be drawn and the sides must be positioned.

“The situation is calm, there is no tension,” the head of the community said.

He said the Azerbaijanis have left the territory until clarifications are made for them to position in relevant places.

Yesterday the head of Sotk village Hakob Avetyan told Aysor.am that the Azerbaijanis entered the territory of Sotk mine.

“They came and positioned and demanded to free the territory,” he said.

Deputy head of Chief of Staff of Armenian Armed Forces Tiran Khachatryan said at an urgent press conference that the enemy entered Sotk mine territory and installed three posts.
“Part of Sotk gold mine is on our territory and part in the territory of the enemy,” Khachatryan said.
