Armenia’s PM insists – information of state bodies during war truthful
We are exerting all necessary efforts to defend the interests of Armenia and Artsakh in this difficult situation, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in his address to the people.
“By the way the vision of chaos is being spread not to give the government an opportunity to focus maximum efforts to solve the issues and with this create a gap between the government and the people, in which though they did not succeed by now,” Pashinyan said.
“Yes, people have questions, yes, they are sometimes bitter and angered, sometimes disappointed and desperate but from all this I see their trust and want to thank for this trust,” he said.
In response to the accusations that false information was provided to the public during the war, Armenia’s PM said in all his speeches he said everything but in other way – in a way peculiar to the war, not to give the enemy information that could have possessed threat to Armenia’s security.
“Or in general, have not the state bodies told that battels were ongoing near Hadrut, have not it been told that battles were ongoing near Martuni, have not it been told that battles were ongoing near Shushi and Karin Tak, have not it been told that Lachin-Stepanakert road was closed, have not it been told about formation of self-defense groups in Syunik. What did all it mean? How should we have told that? With merciful cries? With calls to run and rescue? Spreading panic? Yes, we have also told about the heroism of our army and soldiers, officers and generals. Is it lie? The war activities were ongoing from Sotk to Horadiz,” the PM said, adding that people gave heroic battles and to save their lives, not to allow their blockade the November 9 decision was made.
