Armenian side has data about 50-60 prisoners of war, 30 identified – Artsakh Ombudsman
Artsakh Republic Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan said starting from October 10 they started preparing closed reports on inhuman attitude against Armenian prisoners of war. He said the fifth report is in the preparation phase.
He said the reports are closed due to containing rather severe images and personal data. Beglaryan said they do not want them to spread in Armenian networks to avoid additional psychological pressure.
“But the Azerbaijani side is widely spreading them trying to ensure they are seen by Armenian audience. Definitely, it is a crime,” he said.
Beglaryan said on the basis of analysis of open videos the Armenian side has data of about 50-60 prisoners of war.
“We have managed to identify 30 of them. We are permanently submitting the information to the Red Cross, Russian side and political leadership. On the basis of presented information it was succeeded to save lives and the ICRC managed to contact with the prisoners of war,” Artsakh ombudsman said.
