Parents of servicemen missing from Etchmiadzin military unit say ready to beg anyone who can help to find their children
According to circulating information, search works will launch in Zangelan sector today or tomorrow, head of the Etchmiadzin military unit, captain Kamo Malkhasyan told the parents gathered outside the unit.
Thirty-four servicemen are missing from Etchmiadzin military unit.
“I had no information from my child for over 40 days. He tried to contact yesterday but our phone was not available, he called my nephew but the latter’s phone was turned off,” a parent of a missing serviceman said, adding that no one assists them.
“You ask a question but there is now answer. We are ready to beg Putin or Trump or Biden. Doesn’t matter who,” another parent said, stressing that a person does everything for his child.
The parents said they were told the issue may be settled through negotiations, which though is not succeeded or through a war. “This is what they say, for the parent not to have any response,” the parent said.
From here the parents moved to the Russian embassy in Armenia.
