60 prisoners of war separated from Azerbaijani footages, number of forcibly missed reaches 40 – Artsakh Ombudsman
Artsakh Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan said day and night they are updating the lists about the prisoners on the basis pf videos and proofs presented by relatives.
“We have already managed to separate almost 60 prisoners of war, with only small number of them not having been identified yet. I am not speaking of data of testimonies, calls and other proofs,” Beglaryan said.
Artsakh ombudsman said their staff is carrying out separate fact-finding mission on interned and forcibly missing civilians, whose number reaches over 40.
All the collected data is periodically being handed to state and authorized international bodies expecting effective work in the direction of defense of rights of captives and in ensuring their return.
Beglaryan said they are also cooperating with Armenian ombudsman and individual attorneys in exchange of data and in other corresponding processes.
