Armenia’s president applies to Russia’s Putin to assist in demarcation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan
Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian addressed a letter to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to assist in demarcation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
In his letter the Armenian president again thanked Russian counterpart for the efforts that resulted in stopping bloodshed in Nagorno Karabakh and establishment of ceasefire which made possible to avoid new victims and tragedies.
At the same time Armenia’s president noted that unfortunately, the potential danger of new disputes between the parties still exists over demarcation issue.
Taking into consideration the exclusive importance and urgency of the issue President Sarkissian asked Russia’s president to assist in the process of demarcation between Armenia and Azerbaijan and to bring the process to the end to exclude the future tension and negative developments.
