Nikol Pashinyan should leave, he is unable to make decisions, has no skills of state figure – Artur Vanetsyan
We demand Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation, leader of Homeland party Artur Vanetsyan said in an interview to Kentron TV.
Vanetsyan stressed that Pashinyan will obviously leave, it is impossible for him to stay at power, but if he made the decision 10 days before we would not have bordering zone passing through Vardenis, Armenia’s security would not have been endangered, Dadivank would not have been under control of Azeris, the captured soldiers would have been returned to Armenia.
He stressed if in ten days too Pashinyan refuses to step down, the economy will face serious issues.
“I told at the rally the previous day that each additional day Nikol Pashinyan stays our economy is not getting incomes, as a result the citizen becomes poorer. Each day Nikol Pashinyan stays at power means he is stealing. He must make a decision. We will do everything for Nikol Pashinyan, irrespective of everything, has guarantees of physical security but his attempts to stay clung on his seat will make him face serious issue one day,” Vanetsyan said, stressing that they will fight till the end.
“Nikol Pashinyan can no longer be a PM. Till war we could have entered into political debates with him, but after the war, he has neither moral nor legal basis to stay at power. The Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people cannot have a defeated leader,” the leader of Homeland party said.
Vanetsyan stressed that the biggest issue Pashinyan has is his tradition of not making decision. He cannot make clear decisions, the opposition party’s leader said.
“A state official and particularly high-ranking officials have one task – receive information from different places, analyze and make clear decision. On September 27 we had a war. Few days later head of the Chief of Staff [of Armenia’s Armed Forces] reported to Nikol Pashinyan that we are not ready to confront, that we will fail the war, and it is necessary to stop it. Nikol Pashinyan did not make the decision. If he had made it that day, we would have had some lost territories and almost no victims,” the ex-director of NSS said.
He also reminded that Nikol Pashinyan also did not agree to Russia’s president’s proposal on October 19-20.
“Nikol Pashinyan again did not make the decision as a result we had victims, lost territories and ruined economy. This person is unable to make decisions. He does not have skills of state figure,” Vanetsyan noted.
