After shameful capitulation nothing remains for these authorities but step down - Vazgen Manukyan
PM candidate of Movement of Salvation of the Homeland Vazgen Manukyan issued a statement, stressing that the movement is getting stronger with new groups, individuals and structures joining them everyday.
“This is not a narrow party movement. This is not simply the movement for change of power. This is first of all movement of dignity. A movement that will clean the stigma of defeat, straighten our back and erect our future,” he said, adding that there is no need of additional explanation of why this regime and its leader must leave.
“After the shameful capitulation nothing else remains [but step down]. With the support of the people we will form new government of national consent, will engage in solution of urgent issues, will prepare for new elections,” the candidate said in the statement, stressing the stabilizing role of the National Assembly in the created political crisis.
“We do not want shocks. We need public solidarity. The atmosphere of hatred and poison must remain in past. I urge the law enforcement bodies to maintain the public order, not to become political tool in the hands of defeated authorities. Let’s be the owners of our future, let’s together participate in the revival of our country,” Manukyan said in the statement.
