No finally registered border between Armenia and Azerbaijan – deputy PM
As of the moment an interdepartmental group is working along the entire border of Syunik, legal documents are being prepared for expected negotiations which more probably will take place this year with the mediation of Russian partners, deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said at the NA-Government Q&A.
“There is no finally registered legal border as such between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We have taken all the legal documents and maps which will serve as a basis for the negotiations and with this agenda in the upcoming weeks the negotiations will launch,” Avinyan said.
As to the deployment of armed forces on the border, the vice PM said the final deployments along the entire border will take place as a result of arrangements and negotiations.
