Snap elections may be conducted only after solution of urgent issues – Artur Vanetsyan
Nikol Pashinyan cannot make decisions, leader of Homeland party Artur Vanetsyan said in an interview to RFE/RL.
“We have such shameful situation today due to his inability to make decisions. Now we say Nikol Pashinyan step down and leave. He again fails to make the decision,” he said, adding that everyday of the delay of his decision brings to country’s collapse, direct threat to people’s security.
As to why they do not demand snap elections, Vanetsyan said that today Armenia cannot allow conduction of snap elections due to serious issues it faces.
“The most serious – security issue, shameful economic and healthcare crisis: these three issues must rapidly be settled. The most important issue that should be solved a second earlier is the issue of return of captives and missing as well as the issue of refugees displaced from Artsakh. Until these issues are solved it is impossible to conduct snap elections in Armenia,” he said.
He said that Nikol Pashinyan must go now as he is unable to settle all the mentioned issues.
He stressed that Azerbaijani armed forces enter freely to Armenian populated territories and force the residents leave their settlements.
