Subdivision of 60 servicemen gone missing these days from direction of Khtsaberd community - Artsakh Ombudsman
Artsakh Human Rights Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan reports that a subdivision of over 60 servicemen has gone missing from the direction of Khtsaberd village of Hadrut region.
“According to the collected preliminary data a subdivision consisting of 60 servicemen has gone missing during these days from the direction of Khtsaberd community of Hadrut region which with highest probability is seen in the video released by the Azerbaijani side,” Beglaryan wrote on Facebook, describing the incident unacceptable.
“It is an absolutely unacceptable incident that needs to be immediately and strictly examined by the law enforcement bodies to clarify all the circumstances and the circle of guilty. All the authorized bodies of Artsakh Republic and the Republic of Armenia should immediately take steps to return all our captives home a minute earlier. Besides, it is necessary to provide clear information to the relatives of the prisoners of war and carry out possibly transparent public communication to avoid disinformation and unnecessary tension,” Beglaryan wrote.
