Azerbaijan shows disrespect toward Russia’s brokering efforts – Karabakh president

The Azerbaijani side continues provocative actions and the examples of it are the actions in Khtsaberd and Berdadzor communities, president of Nagorno Karabakh Arayik Harutyunyan said in his address.

“NKR Defense Army servicemen and Russian peacekeepers prevented a number of provocations of the Azerbaijani side, and in the evening yesterday the Azerbaijani servicemen were forced out from the territory near Hin Shen community of Shushi region,” he said.

Harutyunyan stressed that the Armenian side did not suffer casualties near Berdadzor but tens of Armenian servicemen have been captured by the Azerbaijani side in the direction of Khtsaberd community of Hadrut region.

“The violation of November 9 conditions by the Azerbaijani side is a disrespect toward brokering efforts of Russia and RF’s peacekeeping mandate. In collaboration with the military-political leadership of Armenia we are working with the Russian side to prevent Azerbaijani provocations. NKR Defense Army is implementing its commitments in the frameworks of its capacities,” Harutyunyan said.
