Blood of our sons needed to open eyes and ears of the people – Ashotyan

The war was visible, vice president of Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan told the reporters today.

“The war has been matured and brought on our head by Nikol Pashinyan,” he said.
Ashotyan stressed that for 2,5 years Nikol Pashinyan intentionally was ruining the negotiation positions, inviting Turkey to the region.

“In his April 24 speech Nikol Pashinyan did not condemn Turkey, did not say any bitter word in its address, he was not speaking about the genocide from different chairs,” Ashotyan said.

He said at least in political regard Nikol Pashinyan is a traitor.

Party’s vice president said that the NA speaker Ararat Mirzoyan was not speaking about genocide either.

“These authorities were intentionally doing everything to be so, unfortunately, we all did not succeed to prevent this disaster, though we were voicing about it. Unfortunately, that time the eyes and ears of the people were closed. It is painful that the blood of our sons was needed to open them,” Ashotyan said.
