NSS apprehends former adviser to defense minister
Armenia’s National Security Service apprehended former advisor to minister of defense Davit Galstyan known as Patron David.
“In the sidelines of criminal case examined in the NSS it has been found out that Galstyan signed a contract with Armenia’s Ministry of Defense on delivery of shells during 2018 produced in 1983-1986. By deception, hiding the technical-tactical characteristics in the documents he delivered other shells of 1977 Czech production receiving for them $1mln 83 thousand. In technical terms the delivered products conceded the ones mentioned in the contract and failed to fulfill the military tasks,” the NSS said in a press release.
Galstyan has been apprehended and charged. Petition on his arrest has been sent to the court.
Director of the company headed by Galstyan has been charged too.
