Tourism the most suffered sector due to COVID-19, war
The sector of the economy that suffered the most from coronavirus and war is tourism, president of the Armenian Tourism Federation Mekhak Apresyan told the reporters today.
He said it is necessary not to allow the sector to collapse but restore and put it on stable developments grounds.
“It is necessary to work out quick restoration and developments program particularly for this sector to double the number of indoor tourism in 2021-2024,” he said.
Apresyan also stressed that it is important to use the diplomatic pipes and present the real picture to the world and do everything possible for Armenia not to appear in the list of countries not advised for visiting and for the world to see that as always Armenia is ready to host tourisms on highest level and with usual warm hospitality.
He stressed that it is very important to realize that it is impossible to do anything if the staff base is not on the highest level.
