No public demand of snap elections - My Step faction head
As far as the parliamentary and the non-parliamentary opposition did not formulate public demand for conduction of snap elections it means there is no such demand, head of My Step faction Lilit Makunts told the reporters today.
“For us the implementation of the demand of opposition of change of power is possible exclusively through elections and this is why we said let’s discuss the variant of snap elections,” Makunts said.
As to the future actions Makunts said that they will continue implementing the roadmap and while summing up they will refer to the necessity of snap elections.
She also noted that their contacts with the citizens did not transmit signals of the demand of conduction of snap elections.
“Of course it does not mean that we will not refer to snap elections after summing up the roadmap,” Makunts said.
Yesterday Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan conducted meeting with My Step faction. After the meeting he released a statement that there is no demand of snap elections by public.
